To this end we achieved accreditation 3 years ago by meeting the quality standards required to meet ISO 9001. We believe we were one of the first security-based organisations in the UK to achieve this internationally recognised standard of quality.
The background history
Advanced security training services was formed in 1992 by kevin harrison and has maintained a steady growth since then.

After leaving the british army(queen'sregiment) in 1981, kevin harrison commenced his successful career with the fire brigade, becoming an accomplished brigade trainer. He supplemented his income by working as a door supervisor and soon realised that with his skills both within the security trade and as a trainer, he could bring professionalism to the industry and operate with more integrity by forming his own organisation.

With this in mind, asts evolved and to this day, the management team are actively involved in day to day operations as well as striving to maintain good relations between the company and the licensees, local authorities and police.

Advanced security
We have been providing trained, professional security personnel to such companies as first leisure, bass, wetherspoon, yates's wine lodges and a. M. F. Bowling for over 9 years.

The door supervisors we supply are trained to the latest local authority standards and licensed to meet with local legislation where the need arises.
