1963 Jaguar XKE Series 1 E-type FHC.
This beautiful 1963 Jaguar E-type (XKE Series 1) with a 265 hp 3.8L 6 cylinder engine has spent its entire life in sunny Southern California and still has its original black license plate. I'm the third owner and have spent 2 years and tens of thousands of dollars restoring this awesome classic. It has less than 50 miles since this complete ground up restoration and only approximately 34,000 miles total ever on the car. I have no time to enjoy it, so my loss is your gain. The entire car was disassembled, stripped to the metal, repainted, and sealed with all new rubber trim. All chrome has been reconditioned or replaced. Many mechanical parts have been replaced or reconditioned including: brand new clutch, new main wire harness, new shocks, reconditioned original horn, reconditioned triple carburetors, new exhuast system, and other miscellaneous parts. The gas tank has been cooked with special glazing paint for durability, a brake booster has been added, a new starter system put in, and the electrical system has been reversed to negative ground to eliminate electrical problems inherent with old positive ground systems. An extra fan kit has been added to enhance the cooling system and performance. The engine has been replaced with a rebuilt similar year engine and is polished. The interior has been reupholstered with beautiful beige leather. Steering wheel, shifter, etc. is all original. Brand new tires on the original spoked rims. Brand new British made windshield. The car is rust-free and has never been in an accident. It's a definite head turner where ever it goes. Pictures don't do its presence justice.
