Here at the LFA we are committed to providing an accessible programme of nationally recognised coaching sessions to children in the London area.

We run highly popular after-school clubs and half-term/summer soccer schools that are an ideal way for children to spend their holidays. We are a true promoter of grass-roots football, and use football as a vehicle to improve the well-being and quality of life of children.

The London Football Academy is a new business started in response to fellow parents' need for their children to participate more actively in sport. Incidences of childhood obesity and related diseases such as diabetes and heart disease have shown alarming increases in the last decade.

These preventable illnesses are directly linked to children participating less and less in sport and represent a real threat to their long term health if left unchallenged.

The London Football Academy, using football as a vehicle, encourages healthy lifestyles and contributes to improving the well-being and quality of life of children. In addition to the health benefits, interest in sport has shown to reduce the incidences of crime, drugs and vandalism. Sport is a major catalyst in driving young people away from criminal activities and in this respect the LFA is committed to developing children both as players and individuals.
