The company was founded in 1977, under the brand name Dramytinos Michael &SIA E.E. , by Mr. Dramytinos. In 1985, it was decided the foundation of a new company (as a result of a merger) under the brand name PROMOTA HELLAS S.A. . The new company has, since then, its headquarters at Glyfada and since 1999 has, also its own warehouses at Aspropyrgos. Today, the Company has also its own offices at Hong Kong, Shanghai, Canton and Seoul.
In August of 1999 PROMOTA made its application to the Athens Stock Exchange and it, already, has the approval of the Capital Market Committee since 14/9/2000. PROMOTA HELLAS S.A. will be the first company, in this specific business field in Europe that it will enter a Stock Market. A sort look in its financial results the last 3 years will show that our company grows fast. In 1998 the turnover was 13.509.000 , in 1999 it was 16.214.000 and in 2000 it was 18.782.000 . The earnings before taxes were 1.412.000 , 1.913.000 and 2.585.000 respectively.

PROMOTA HELLAS S.A. main activities are in promotional gifts field. To be more specific, its occupation is the supplying, printing and trading of promotional and advertising gifts and the repackaging of products.
The following product categories are subject of its main activities:
On pack gifts, which we pack along with magazines and newspapers for commercial reasons. Promotional gifts which big supermarkets chains and malls give to their customers, if their purchases exceed a specific amount, in very low prices.
Public Relations gifts which are pens, calculators, table calendars, conference bags etc.
PROMOTA HELLAS S.A. since its second fiscal year is one of the most promising companies in Greece and it is, definitely, a pioneer in its field of action. Today, is the leader in Greece in its business field with a market share of 70% while it is ranked 3rd in Europe in importing, processing and trading business and promotional gifts.
Our company is, since 1979, member of IPPAG (International Partnership for Premiums & Gifts) that has 34 companies-members in 34 countries worldwide and its purpose is the exchange of ideas and the tracing and the exclusive disposal of new patents. PROMOTA is, also, member of EURIMAGE that has 11 European members and its purpose is the co production of gift catalogues in which participate the biggest European makers.

The Company has hired a special team of programmers who are working with an outside informatics consultant to prepare its portal, which is scheduled to enriched with 6 additional e-commerce sites.
